Terms of Service

CalorIA Scan is a mobile application developed by Rumbo Tech Labs that uses artificial intelligence to estimate the caloric and nutritional content of foods from photographs taken by the user.

• CalorIA Scan is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional nutritional advice.
• Do not make health, medical, or dietary decisions based solely on the App's results.
• Consult a physician, nutritionist, or registered dietitian for specific health needs.
• Rumbo Tech Labs is not responsible for consequences arising from the use of the App's nutritional estimates.

You agree to use CalorIA Scan only for lawful, personal purposes. The following are prohibited:

• Uploading images of inappropriate, illegal, or offensive content.
• Attempting to circumvent usage restrictions (e.g., manipulating the free scan limit).
• Using the App for commercial activities without written authorization from Rumbo Tech Labs.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App.
• Accessing backend systems in an unauthorized manner.

Includes a limited number of analyses per month at no cost.

The Basic and Pro plans offer a higher number of monthly analyses via subscription. Prices are shown in the App in Mexican pesos (MXN) or local currency, and include applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiration.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings on Google Play or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are managed in accordance with Google Play and App Store policies. Rumbo Tech Labs does not process refunds directly.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities carried out from it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at: contact@caloriascan.com

Rumbo Tech Labs reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice and without right to refund.

You can permanently delete your account from inside the App at Profile → Delete my account. This action erases all your personal data from our servers within a maximum of 30 days and is irreversible.

CalorIA Scan, its name, logo, design, and content are the property of Rumbo Tech Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction or use without written authorization is prohibited.

Photographs you upload remain your property. By using them in the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them for the sole purpose of generating the nutritional analysis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rumbo Tech Labs shall not be liable for:

• Damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
• Inaccuracies in the AI-generated nutritional estimates.
• Service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure.
• Data loss caused by failures of the user's device.

We strive to keep the App continuously available but do not guarantee 100% availability. We may temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, updates, or for reasons beyond our control.

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified within the App. Continued use of the App after the notification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mexico.
